At greenSinner, we're staying on top of local and national precautions around the spread of coronavirus, and we know you might be anxious about your upcoming event. Here's some information that may help.
For New Clients
For wedding or events in the near term, you may be facing decisions about how to downscale to a cozier guest count or other alternative arrangement, such as an elopement or a virtual gathering. We’ve got you covered! Our Green Saints Collection is a great option for a backyard ceremony, photoshoot, or elopement. You can order bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, and centerpieces online and schedule a time to pick up.
For events that are further out in the future, we’re happy to talk to you! We still have many new clients planning weddings or other events later in 2020 or in 2021. We’re conducting meetings virtually, but we’d be delighted to set up a call with you to talk about your event. Get in touch via our contact form.
For Events already booked
First, although we've adapted many of our practices, you should know that greenSinner is prepared to fulfill all of our existing weddings and other events. Fortunately, our focus on North American flowers and other goods helps insulate us from supply chain issues, and our broad seasonal workforce gives us a lot of folks to draw on to pull off events uninterrupted. We're taking additional precautions, including holding meetings virtually instead of in person, adding additional staffing capacity to events, and adding additional cleaning and hygiene practices to keep everyone safe.
Regardless, you may find yourself considering whether to cancel because of other circumstances, such as travel and gathering restrictions, cancellations of venues or other services, or concerns about friends and family members. Here are a few reminders about our contract and cancellations:
Retainer payments are non-refundable, but we are happy to transfer them to another date or event. We can't refund any retainer you've already paid, as those funds have gone into the advance planning and design for your event, but we can coordinate with you to apply the retainer to a different date available in our calendar or to a modified version of your original proposal.
If you do decide to cancel or postpone, most of our contracts have a 30-day cancellation policy before your wedding date. To help reduce anxiety over making a decision, we're extending our cancellation policy to 21 days before your event for all events up to June 30, 2020. This allows you to monitor the situation and wait to make a decision up until 3 weeks before your event (at which time we need a call whether the event is on and the final payment to begin ordering flowers and materials). Final payments are non-refundable after this date.
If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out! We're here to help you work out a solution, no matter what you decide to do.
